“The blue earring” is the online store (e-shop) of the sole proprietorship “Roxani Eftychides” – hereinafter “the Company” (Tax number 030307520, Tax office of Heraklion). Its activity includes the sale of jewellery, silverware and gift items. The premises of the company is located at 16 Argyraki Street, Heraklion, where the physical store of the company is housed.

- PERSONAL DATA, INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
“The blue earring”, applying the principles of personal data protection and in accordance with the provisions of the International European Law that regulates matters related to electronic commerce (Directive 2000/31/EC, PD 131/2003), as well as the provisions of Law 2251 /1994 on consumer protection, which regulates issues related to distance sales and the relevant provisions of Law 2472/1997 on the protection of individuals and the protection of personal data, as supplemented or amended, as well as the European General Data Protection Regulation, expressly and clearly declares that it will not make any unfair use of your personal data, nor will it disclose, publicize, exchange or sell your personal data and information or your purchase details to any third party.
Upon your request, your personal information will be permanently deleted. By submitting your information on the company’s page, you agree that the declared material does not contain information that is false, fictitious, illegal and generally unsuitable for use, processing and/or publication.
Τhe content published on “the blue earring” consists intellectual property of the owning company. All intellectual property rights, contents and derivations thereof belong to the company directly or to third parties legally concerned. Visiting and/or browsing “the blue earring” means unconditional acceptance of copyright laws.
- LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND UPDATE OF TERMS
Although “the blue earring” makes every effort to display the displayed products in the best and most accurate way possible (photos, descriptions, comments, etc.), typographical, numerical or visualization errors or modifications may appear in some cases.
“The blue earring” does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the illustrations and descriptions or the reliability of any opinion, statement or other related information mentioned or posted on this website. You should also be informed that the weights of the jewelry may show slight deviations due to their handmade construction. On the other hand, regarding problems that may be created by the various links to other sites, as well as by an advertising campaign, “the blue earring” and its owning company bear no responsibility; only the advertising company that has undertaken the promotion is responsible for its proper execution.
“The blue earring” reserves the exclusive right to renew or modify the terms and conditions of transactions. It undertakes the obligation to update this text in a timely manner for any modification, change or addition made to these terms.
It is clarified that all listed prices include VAT of 24%. The company reserves the right to adjust the prices, as well as the products offered. Furthermore, the shipping charges, where applicable, relate exclusively and entirely to the shipment of the orders and do not constitute a remuneration of the company in any way.
3. SALE AGREEMENT
With the submission of an order by the visitor of the online store (buyer), it is considered that at that time a contract between the buyer and the company begins in good faith, based on the terms and conditions herein, and with a start date current at the time of order and end upon receipt of the product by the buyer. On top of that, of course, the buyer’s legal rights regarding the 14-day right of withdrawal and guarantee of good operation from receipt, as applicable, are valid.
The buyer reserves the right to cancel their order after contacting the company at the contact details mentioned herein, within 24 hours, a period of time which is extended as long as the possession of the products in question is maintained with the company if the purchase has not yet been delivered to a cooperating transport company (courier or carrier).
The company reserves the right to cancel the order in the event that, during quality control, it is determined that a product does not meet the required quality and there is no other product available. In this case or for products that are not immediately available, it reserves the same right if it is unable to restock the necessary products, despite its reasonable efforts to ensure their availability. It also reserves the right to cancel an order in the event that another major error is found due to incorrect information from a typographical or systemic error (e.g. price, availability).
In case of cancellation, the consideration of the transaction, if it has already been paid, will be returned to the buyer in the manner and time provided by the respective instrument (e.g. bank) and in the same instrument.
- PRODUCT RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
The buyer reserves the right to withdraw from the purchase and, by extension, the right to return the products purchased within 14 days from the date of receipt, together with their packaging and any accompanying document (e.g. proof of purchase, warranty , certificate of authenticity, etc.), and provided (1) the product tags, where present, have not been removed or cut off, and (2) the products are in excellent condition (as delivered).
For the return, relevant notification of the exercise of the right on behalf of the buyer to the company is required, within the above exclusive time period, by phone at +30 2810283677, or email at [email protected].
Refunds are made in the same way the original payment was made (e.g. credit card or paypal). In case of cash on delivery or transfer to a bank account, the return is made by transfer to an IBAN account indicated by the buyer, after deducting the transport costs of shipping and return (if the latter has been done by the cooperating transport company with recipient charge), within 10 working days from their receipt by the company. The company is not responsible for any commission charges of the buyer’s bank on the payment or return amount.
In addition to the above, the buyer is given the right to return products within 30 days from the date of receipt, with the possibility of exchanging with other products of their choice (of the same value, or greater with coverage of the difference on their part), or with the issuance of a one-year credit for the benefit of the buyer. The notification is made by the buyer to the company in the same way and, accordingly, the return of the products must be made together with their packaging and any accompanying document (e.g. proof of purchase, guarantee, certificate of authenticity, etc.), and as long as the product tags, where present, have not been removed or cut off, and as long as the products are in perfect condition (as delivered). The return shipping costs are borne by the buyer. In the event of a change, the shipping of the new order is covered by the company for the 1st (and only) change.
In any case, the buyer is responsible for the good packaging of the products for their safe transport. Products that are returned and do not meet the above return terms and conditions will not be accepted. Products manufactured exclusively for the buyer are excluded from the right of return and cannot be returned or replaced.
- DISPUTE RESOLUTION AND GOVERNING LAW
All transactions carried out through “the blue earring” are governed by the principles of the Greek Consumer Protection Legislation and the Community Law on electronic commerce. The courts of Heraklion are responsible for any dispute arising in the context of transactions with “the blue earring”.
It is also noted that any dispute can be resolved electronically through the Online Dispute Resolution (based on Directive 2013/11/EC, which was harmonized in the Greek legislation with KYA 70330/2015) of the European Commission, with the competent Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) bodies that undertake the processing of the country’s complaints. The choice of carrier must be agreed upon by both contracting parties.
